Role changes at AXA UK

As previously announced, AXA UK is combining its commercial lines and personal intermediary operations into a single organisation, under the leadership of Amanda Blanc.

The integration should be completed by October and to facilitate the process a number of roles have been changed internally as follows:

Karen Hogg has been appointed as managing director of Personal Intermediary with responsibility for overall performance of Personal Intermediary and the direct management of the distribution teams.

David Williams, as a result of the changes and increased responsibilities, will focus solely on underwriting, as managing director.

Private motor underwriting is now led by Jon Byford and non-motor by Carolyn Scott, both of whom will report to David Williams

Chris Voller has been appointed claims director and will not only mange the existing commercial claims teams but also oversee the governance of the teams handling intermediary claims.

Matthew Reed will continue in his role as managing director of commercial intermediary with responsibility for the intermediary branch network.
