Ironshore Inc. has announced the appointment of David R. Frediani as the new president of Ironshore International.
In collaboration with Ironshore regional executives and international underwriters Frediani will be tasked with expanding the firm’s presence in specialty business lines, and increasing the firm’s presence in Latin America and elsewhere.
Frediani will also assume responsibility for the firm’s daily activities in North America, including Ironshore International, Ironshore Canada, Marine Re and other new initiatives.
He will report directly to Ironshore International Chief Executive Officer Mark Wheeler.
Prior to joining Ironshore Frediani spent over three decades with Marsh & McLennan Companies, including 24 years involved with international responsibilities.
Ironshore Chief Executive Officer Kevin H. Kelley praised Frediani’s in-depth knowledge and experience, and welcomed him to the firm.
