Marsh appoints energy practice leader


Marsh has appointed Richard Higgins as a leader within its energy practice.


In his newly created role, Mr Higgins will be responsible for delivering the firm’s upstream and midstream energy solutions to clients globally.


Based in London, he will report to Andrew George, chairman of Marsh’s energy practice.


Mr Higgins arrives with over 35 years of experience as an energy insurance broker having begun his career with Sedgwick Forbes in 1976, moved on to Jenner Fenton Slade, eventually to become a founder member of Lloyd’s specialist energy broker, Agnew Higgins Pickering.
