Allianz Commercial has announced two new appointments to its Maidstone branch where Sarah Smith is taking up the post of branch manager and Kerry Myles development manager.
Ms Smith has worked at Allianz for 17 years during which time she held in a number of senior technical leadership roles in its claims division, most recently operations manager (people).
Ms Myles joined the insurer as part of its graduate programme in 2006 and most recently held the position of senior business developer at its Southampton branch.
In her new role, she will be responsible for managing the new business underwriting team and sales force, also taking responsibility for the development of business with brokers across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
