International specialty property/casualty insurer and reinsurer Catlin Group Limited has announced the appointment of Glenn Brace as the firm’s new group claims director.
Brace, who is to join Catlin early next year, will assume responsibility for the firm’s worldwide claims operations.
He will be based in London and succeeds Nick Sinfield, who has been promoted to chief executive officer of the firm’s London/UK underwriting hub.
Brace will be directly responsible to Chief Operating Officer of Catlin Group Limited Paul Jardine.
Since February of last year he has served as executive director of Xchanging Claims Services.
Jardine expressed his delight at the appointment, and described Brace as one of the world’s top claims professionals.
