Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. has announced the appointment of John Kuhn as the new chief executive officer of Global Insurance.
In his new position Kuhn will assume responsibility for the firm’s US, Bermuda and International insurance operations.
He brings 26 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new post, and during his career has occupied a range of senior underwriting and management roles.
Kuhn will be based in Endurance’s Bermuda office, subject to his appointment being granted regulatory approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.
Endurance Chief Executive Officer David Cash described Kuhn as a talented and respected insurance leader and said that he was looking forward to him growing the firm’s insurance business.
Kuhn himself stated that he was excited with his new appointment with Endurance, which he joins from Axis Capital.
