Zurich Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Isabelle Welton to the position of group chief marketing officer.
Welton, who assumes her new position with effect from 7 January 2013, will replace Isabelle Conner, who parted ways with the firm at the end of October.
In her new role she takes on responsibility for the leadership of Zurich’s global Marketing function and for strengthening the Zurich brand.
Welton it to be based in Zurich and will be directly responsible to Chief Executive Officer Martin Senn and Chief of Staff Ann Haugh.
She joins Zurich from IBM, where she worked as Brand System VP in the European Management and previously held the post of country general manager for Switzerland.
