Marsh’s UK operations, which comprise 26 offices across the country, have been granted “Chartered Insurance Broker” status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
The award follows a rigorous assessment of the firm’s policies, training procedures and working practices.
Marsh has also been required to demonstrate a sustained commitment to developing and raising the standards of professional knowledge and ethical practice among staff, for the benefit of clients.
Marsh UK & Ireland chief executive officer, Mark Weil, comments: “This award is recognition of the continuing hard work, dedication and commitment to integrity of our colleagues across the UK.”
Dr Alexander Scott, chief executive officer of the CII, adds: “Marsh shows that organisations of all sizes believe that a commitment to professionalism can create a clear competitive advantage.”
