Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has announced that it has bolstered its presence in Benelux with the opening of a new office in Amstelveen, in the Netherlands.
The new office will cater to large and upper-middle market corporations domiciled in the region, providing them with insurance solutions including property, casualty and industry-specific products.
Resilient economic activity makes the Benelux region attractive to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, which provides large net capacity and has an appetite for high quality risk.
Head of Europe, Middle East & Africa Fred Kleiterp said that the opening of a new office was a clear indication of the firm’s commitment to the region.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has also announced that Jeroen Weurding, formerly of Zurich Financial Services and Delta Lloyd, is to join it in order to lead its Benelux operations.
