Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) has announced the appointment of Anthony Prokopiou and Daniel Fulco as senior aviation underwriters in the firm’s London-based team.
The pair will work within a global remit, and will be directly responsible, on an interim basis, to Chief Executive Officer Sean Rocks.
The pair will subsequently report to the firm’s new head of aviation following his arrival early in the New Year.
Prokopiou brings more than a quarter of a century of experience in aviation underwriting to his new role, in which he will focus primarily upon general aviation business.
Fulco has worked in the insurance market for 14 years, most recently for a Lloyd’s aviation syndicate, and in his new position he will handle the airline account with a focus on second and third tier airline business.
