Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has announced a number of senior leadership appointments in its Willis International business unit focusing on its UK and wider European operations.
Willis’ Continental European operations is to be divided into two separate regions, namely Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe.
Director General of Willis Iberia Alberto Gallego has been appointed CEO of Willis Western Europe, with South Africa CEO and Regional CEO Middle East and Africa Scott Pickering becoming CEO of Willis Central and Eastern Europe.
In addition, Willis UK CEO Dan Wilkinson is to leave the firm in 2013 to take up a role with RSA, with Tim Wright taking on responsibility for UK Retail on an interim basis.
Gallego and Pickering will be directly responsible to Wright, as will Luis Maurette (Willis Latin America), Roger Wilkinson (Australia and New Zealand) and Willis Asia chief Adam Garrard.
